BIO114 General Biology I
Introduction for Biology, Chemistry, Pre-Med, and Pre-Vet majors. Focus on concepts and principles necessary for life of all organisms, emphasizing similarities among living things. This portion of the General Biology sequence emphasizes the cellular level of both plants and animals. Overview of systems and topics covered in greater detail in subsequent courses. Must be taken concurrently with BIO 115. (Prerequisite: Science ACT equal to or greater than 24, or BIO 105 w/ C or higher grade, or permission of instructor.)

Prerequisites: BIO105/106 (w/ C or higher grade), Science ACT>24 or permission of instructor.
