This course focused on the difficulty in interpreting musical selections. Students were to select five musical selections from varying genres for performance to the class. The students worked to translate their chosen musical selections into American Sign Language. Several members of the course also participated in a choral experience working with a ASL Lab Tutor, Robert Love. Robert and the students worked on the translation and rehearsed the performance before recording in the university’s recording studio located in the Kemper Art Center.
