Political/Legal studies at The Woods offers you the opportunity, through an intense program of study, to evaluate political and legal principles. The program includes legal research and writing, oral and written advocacy, and the opportunity for internships and field experience. Our on-campus courtroom will prepare you for internships, mock trial competitions and presentations.

The Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, regularly convenes in our courtroom, providing you another opportunity to apply theory to real life. Other political or law-related activities include political events, legislative internships, prel-law advisement, our award-winning pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta International and mock trial teams. (2002 Phi Alpha Delta national champions).
