Dual Credit
The university offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while enrolled in advanced placement classes offered at their respective high schools. To be eligible, a student must be a junior or senior, be enrolled in a self-contained high school honors course, hold a GPA of 3.00 or above, and have the recommendation of the high school teacher and/or counselor. Students who are interested in participating in the dual credit program should contact the Dual Credit Coordinator or the Registrar's Office at 573.592.4249 for information.
Dual Enrollment 
The university sponsors dual enrollment with area high schools. Under this program high school juniors and seniors have the opportunity to complete college level courses on the university campus. Admission into this program is restricted to high school junior and senior level honor students only and enrollment is limited to two courses per semester. The one-time application fee of $25 must be paid prior to the start of the course. The tuition fee under this program is $75 per credit. William Woods University also accepts credit from other institutions of higher learning who offer dual enrollment or dual credit programs. The credit must appear on an official transcript from the degree-granting institution. There is a limit of 30 transfer hours accepted through dual enrollment programs. Students must earn a minimum grade of C for a course to be accepted in transfer.
The application procedure will be considered complete when the following items have been received:
- Letter from applicant's high school recommending applicant.
- Applicant's academic transcript.

Notice of Availability of Annual Security Report
A copy of William Woods University's Annual Security Report. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by William Woods University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters.
