| At William Woods University, we distinguish ourselves as a student-centered and professions-oriented university committed to the self-liberation and lifelong education of students in the world community. In keeping with this vision, our Graduate & Adult Studies Programs are designed to meet the educational needs of full-time working adults in Missouri.
Through the Graduate & Adult Studies Programs, we offer degree programs across the state in or near your community so you can complete your degree while working full time.
Employing a model of accelerated learning developed for working adults, William Woods' programs are structured so that you can complete a degree program in as few as 18 to 28 months. Accelerated classes meet once or twice per week. Students move through the entire program as a cohort, beginning as a group and then progressing course by course, together.
All of our programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org, (312) 263-0456), a Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and our Master of Education and Educational Specialist certification programs are approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Bachelor of Social Work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
