Mandy Henke, Tara Schults, Megan Bote and Chelsea Loethen - Integrity
Softball HuddleThe dictionary defines integrity as soundness of moral character. As student-athletes here at William Woods University, we not only uphold this core value on the softball field but engage it in the classroom and everyday life. We believe we gained our integrity through all aspects of softball including: morning weights, fundraising, champions of character events, practice, and games. In relation to soundness of moral character, our integrity thrives through being on time, working hard with or without supervision, positive attitudes, working as a team, and upholding the five core values. We maintain these aspects in the classroom and everyday life as we do on the softball field. The way we can truly be champions of character is by being advocates of integrity along with the other core values. Like a house needs a solid foundation, a team needs a firm base and we believe integrity is a great place to start. Even though we all may have different moral codes we can all agree and uphold the general element of integrity.
