Zoe Brittan Owls Season Ends in Regional

(SPRINGFIELD, Mo., May 8)--The William Woods University softball team defeated Evangel University on Thursday afternoon 3-1 to advance in the NAIA Region V Tournament in Springfield, Missouri.

The win set up a showdown with William Jewell College. The Owls would lose 3-2 to William Jewell and end their season with a record of 31-22.

Zoe BrittanOwls Sweep AMC Honors

(LEBANON, Ill., May 6)--William Woods University swept its way to the final American Midwest Conference softball awards for the 2008 season.

For the second consecutive week, Zoe Brittan has been selected as the AMC Softball Player of the Week, while Courtney Vincent earned AMC Softball Pitcher of the Week accolades. The honors were announced Tuesday morning by the conference office.

William Woods Women's Golf

Owls Win AMC and Region V Championships

(COLUMBIA, Mo., May 6th)--The William Woods women's golf team won the American Midwest Conference and NAIA Region V Championships at A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia, Missouri Tuesday afternoon. The Owls are qualified for their fifth consecutive trip to the NAIA National Championships.  The Owls finished 8th at the 2007 NAIA National Championships.
