Tracy Gastineau became the Head Softball Coach at William Woods in 1998 following one year as the Owls Assistant Coach. Coach Gastineau graduated from William Woods in 1993 with a degree in accounting. In 1998, she earned her Masters degree in Education Curriculum from William Woods.
Coach Gastineau led the Owls a the Region V Championship in 2005 and 2006 and was named Region V Coach of the Year. The Owls' qualified for the 2005 and 2006 NAIA National Championship and finished the season ranked 13th in the nation. Coach Gastineau was named American Midwest Conference Coach of the Year in 1998, her first season as skipper. She was also selected AMC Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2006. Coach Gastineau was also the 1998 NFCA Midwest Region Coach of the Year.
While attending William Woods University, Tracy was an outstanding athlete. She received softball all-conference honors in both 1992 and 1993. During those same years she was honored as an NAIA Softball All-American Scholar-Athlete. Tracy also was an All-District performer on the Owls' basketball squad during her senior year.
Coach Gastineau attended New Bloomfield High School in New Bloomfield, Mo. There she received many honors in both basketball and softball. She was an all-state selection in basketball in 1988 and 1989. She earned all-district and all-conference honors three of her four years in both basketball and softball.
When asked her views on coaching, Coach Gastineau said, “I believe that coaching is a challenging profession that requires dedication, knowledge, commitment, and genuine concern for student-athletes. I strive to help my players not only to be successful on the playing field, but also in the classroom and in life. Every coach and team has different strategies for success. The foundation of my philosophy is a good work ethic and a genuine love for the game. I believe that without those two things, not even the best athlete will come close to achieving her potential."

Casey Kemna begins her first year as an assistant coach for the William Woods Softball program. Kemna joined the coaching ranks after finishing her collegiate career at the University of Evansville.
Kemna played Division I softball for the University of Evansville Purple Aces from 2005-2008. She played in 188 out of 199 total games over the four years. Of those, she started 186 games. Her junior year, Kemna led the team in stolen bases. Throughout Kemna's senior campaign, she broke the school's career records for sacrifice bunts and sacrifice flies. Also, she had an outstanding defensive year with only committing two errors while successfully playing six out of the nine defensive positions.
Prior to Kemn's collegiate career, she attended Helias High School in Jefferson City, Missouri. There she was a four-time All-District, four-time All-Conference, and two-time All-State player for the Crusader's softball team.
Kemna earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Evansville, with a minor in Business. She is currently pursuing a Master's of Business with Health Management emphasis at William Woods University.

Kristen Kolter begins her first year as an assistant coach for the William Woods Softball program. Kolter joined the coaching ranks after a four-year career at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, from 2004-2007. She was named TranSouth All-Conference, Region XI Honorable Mention and NFCA All-Region in 2006.
Kolter finished her career for the Lady Bulldogs with totals of 106 hits, 30 doubles, 10 home runs, 48 runs, 60 runs batted in, and a .267 batting average in 396 at bats. She had a fielding percentage of 1.000 for three of her four years at Union. Kolter earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Union University, with a minor in Communications.
Kolter is currently pursuing a Master's of Education in Athletics Activities Administration at William Woods University.
