Volleyball Coaching Staff
 Jennifer MuellerJennifer Mueller became the William Woods University Head Volleyball coach during the winter of 2008. The 2008 season will be her first at the helm of the WWU volleyball program.

Mueller came to William Woods from Lafayette County High School in Higginsville, Missouri. Mueller spent one year as an assistant varsity volleyball coach for Lafayette County.

Prior to Lafayette County, she spent one season as an assistant volleyball coach at NCAA Division II University of Central Missouri. That year, UCM finished with a record of 26-10. The Jennies finished third in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAA) and advanced to the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament.

Mueller spent the 2001 season at Washburn University. Coach Mueller served as an Assistant Coach at the MIAA school.

Coach Mueller also brought head coaching experience to William Woods. Before her stint as an assistant at the University of Central Missouri, Mueller spent three years as the head volleyball coach at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas. Her final year at Coffeyville, Coach Mueller led her squad compiled a 20-win season, and finished fourth place in the talent-rich Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

Coach Mueller has been very active in Club Volleyball and on the Summer Camp circuit. She has coached Club LaCoMo and Topeka Impact, as well as an instructor at Pittsburg State University, University of Saint Mary, University of Missouri, and Coffeyville Community College summer camps.

Mueller graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science Education degree in Earth Science. She received her Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness from UCM in 2007.

Coach Alicia JonesAlicia Jones is in her first year as an Assistant Coach at William Woods University.

Jones is a graduate of Sante Fe High School in Alma, Missouri.  She played volleyball, basketball and track at Santa Fe.  Jones was a two-time All-Conference selection in volleyball.  She was also an All-Conference and All-District selection in basketball. Coach Jones was also a member of two Missouri State Championship volleyball teams.

Jones attended the University of Missouri and the University of Central Missouri.  She has spent the past several years coaching volleyball, basketball and soccer at Trinity Lutheran School in Alma, Missouri.
