Academic Service-Learning Project Name: Last Supper Mural

Academic Service-Learning Project Description:

The Last Supper was a mural done through the mentee/mentor program. The project used a student painter and incorporated student models. The student painter used critical thinking to produce an original work of art that did not infringe on Leonardo da Vinci's orginal painting. The student painter and his professor incorporated the faces of the student models to create the images of Jesus and his Disciples. After the mural was finished a community installation ceremony was held. The mural is now on display at Free Methodist Church in Portland, Missouri for the members to enjoy.
