Transcript Request Policy

 

A Transcript is a complete copy of the student's academic record. Transcripts are available upon signed request received in the Registrar's office. All request must show the student's signature. Telephone and e-mail requests are not accepted. Faxed requests are accepted with credit card number and expiration date. Payment of $10 per transcript processing fee is required prior to release of all transcripts. A transcript cannot be released until all personal and financial obligations have been cleared.

Official transcripts bear the University seal and the signature of the Registrar. An official transcript should be sent directly from the Registrar's office to the receiving institution. If a transcript is sent directly to a student, the copy is considered unofficial and the words "Issued to Student" will appear on the transcript. Upon special request, an official transcript may be issued to the student in a sealed envelope. To remain official, the student may not open the envelope.

Transcript request will be processed within 3-5 workdays following clearance from the Office of Student Financial Services.
