An important person during Recruitment is your Pi Chi, or Recruitment Counselor. These women have been selected to answer your questions, be your friend, and serve as an advisor. While active in their chapters during the year, they have chosen to help potential new members through the recruitment process by unaffiliating from their own chapters for the week.
During the summer before Recruitment begins, you will receive e-mail updates from our Pi Chi chair with important information regarding Recruitment. She will be able to answer any questions you might have about the William Woods’ Greek community. Once on campus, you will be assigned to a recruitment group, headed by our Pi Chi’s. These groups will include other incoming students who are going through Recruitment. You will meet with your recruitment groups throughout Recruitment and have the opportunity to ask one-on-one questions of your Pi Chi throughout the week.
Conversations with your Pi Chi will be kept in the strictest of confidence. The Pi Chi’s understand you are making a very important decision they and are there to listen. They will not tell other Pi Chi’s, chapters or the Greek Advisor what was said in those conversations.
